The Africa Experience
What do you think of when you hear the word ‘Africa’? Do you think of AIDS? Do you think of hunger? How about poverty?
We can’t send 9,000 students to Africa so we thought we should bring it to you. Come observe an African hospital, see the poverty as you walk the garbage-strewn streets — and even worship in an African church. Hear their stories, feel their hurt, learn how you can make a difference today.
Project 132 is designed to bring to light the challenges that Africa faces as a continent during an evening of entertainment. The AIDS crisis, famine, unclean drinking water and medical issues are just a few problems Africa faces. Where is God in all of this? Is His voice relevant? We want to discover God’s transforming work in West Africa. The Project 132 event will be followed up by an experiential prayer room and a service project to send a shipping container full of needed items to Africa. Come and see how you can be a part of the solution.

Ways to Engage at LIFE 2007
We would like each youth ministry to have a hands-on role this year at the LIFE Conference through Project 132. We would like your ministry to bring along as many of the following items as possible. These items will be gathered at the LIFE Conference and teams will help sort items and pack a shipping container that will be sent to Ougadougou, Burkina Faso in West Africa. This shipping container is HUGE, so we need your support and the support of your entire church to do this! If you have any questions, please contact us. Ways to Engage for a Lifetime
Come prepared to respond! You and your youth ministry can bring much needed supplies to LIFE and even help pack the container that will be shipped to Africa from Orlando. A special offering will also be taken for the ministry in Africa. At LIFE you will be given the opportunity to establish long-term partnership with African missionaries in their effort to bring hope and transformation through Christ’s love.
