1. Where and when will the LIFE 2007 conference be held?
LIFE 2007 will be held in sunny Orlando, FL from July 3-7, 2007. The conference will be held at the Orange County Convention Center. Good news! All our contracted hotels are within walking distance of the Convention Center.
2. What is the cost and what does it cover?
LIFE 2007 will cost $375 per person. The registration fee includes:
- Meals (Breakfast and Lunch, Wednesday through Saturday)

3. Who can attend LIFE?
LIFE 2007 is intended for high school students, therefore the age limitation is between 13 years old (or entering 9th grade) and 19 years old (or recent high school graduates).

6. What does a typical day look like?
LIFE runs from Tuesday-Saturday. You can download the proposed daily schedule if you want a bit more detail, but generally, a day at LIFE looks like this:
- Morning
- Breakfast
- Main Session
- Seminars
- Afternoon
- Lunch
- Main Session
- Youth Group meetings
- Evening
- Dinner (on your own)
- Seminars, concerts and more
7. How can I receive promotional materials?
Promotional materials will be sent to all C&MA churches starting in Spring 2006. More materials will be sent to churches leading up to LIFE 2007. If you would like to request materials, please contact us.
8. How do I register my group for LIFE 2007?
Online registration is now closed, but you can register onsite in Orlando, FL at the Orange County Convention Center starting Tuesday, July 3, 2007. If you have any questions please call the registration office at 877-284-3262 option 5 or send an email. If you need hotel accommodations, please call Edna Mapstone at 717-207-0744.
9. Is the deposit refundable?
No, you will not be able to receive a refund if you do not attend LIFE 2007. However, the group leader may transfer the deposit from one student to another within their group.
10. What is the recommended leader to student ratio?
One leader : seven students
11. Are scholarships available for LIFE 2007?
No, there are no scholarships available for LIFE 2007. The best place to go for scholarships is your district.
12. Can I work at the conference?
Yes. Here are some more details:
How old? Workers must be at least 19 years old.
How much? Workers must work six hours per day.
What can I do? Workers are assigned various jobs by the coordinator from crowd control to guides to big toy operators, etc.
Who is a worker/intern? A worker is an adult who wants to support the ministry of the LIFE 2007. They pay their own food, room and travel. Food is $225 per person. An intern is a college student interested in full time ministry. They pay their own room and travel costs. They are expected to work 8-10 hours per day.
13. What are the details on housing?
Once you register your group, you will receive confirmation with a housing link and you will then be able to make your hotel reservations. The hotels range from $89 to $105 per room, per night. If you put four people in the room and you occupy the room five nights (Tuesday night to Saturday night), the estimated housing cost is $111 to $131 per person.

Can we find our own housing? No, our desire is to have everyone onsite for the conference. If you book your own accomodations, there is a penalty fee, plus you will need to provide transportation to your hotel and parking at the convention center. There are more benefits to staying onsite.
15. How do I get to LIFE 2007?

19. Are donations tax deductible?
Yes. The LIFE 2007 conference meets the criteria to be considered an exempt ministry event. Contributions to cover the costs of registration, meals, lodging, and transportation for attendees may be tax-deductible to the donor. The individual donor should make the contribution to the attendee’s church to receive a tax-deductible receipt issued by the church. The National Office does not issue receipts to individuals attending LIFE 2007.
